For universities and credential offices
Applicants' academic records, translated and certified in one place
Admissions, registrar and international offices get one workspace for transcript and diploma translations. Staff can upload records themselves, or applicants can upload through a page with your institution's name. Every grade is carried over exactly as written.
- Grades never converted
- Applicant upload page
- A workspace per office
- Monthly invoicing available
JukeLingo for Business translates and certifies applicants' transcripts, diplomas and other academic records for universities. Offices work in their own workspaces, applicants can upload through a hosted page carrying the institution's name, and every grade, credit and course title is translated exactly as written, never converted to a U.S. scale. JukeLingo provides certified translation only, not credential evaluation.
Translation or evaluation: which one your office needs
A certified translation renders a record into English, complete and word for word, with the translator's signed statement of accuracy. A credential evaluation, from a member of an association such as NACES, judges what the credential is worth in the U.S. system. They answer different questions, and an evaluator usually needs an English translation of any record not already in English.
JukeLingo does the translation and never the evaluation. If your office converts grades or assesses equivalency itself, the translation gives your evaluators the record exactly as the issuing school wrote it. Our translation vs. credential evaluation guide explains the difference for applicants, and you're welcome to link it from your instructions.
How academic records are translated
- Grades, marks and credits are carried over exactly as written: a 17/20 stays 17/20. Nothing is converted to a 4.0 scale or a letter grade.
- Course titles are translated as written, and the grading legend on the back of the transcript is translated too.
- Stamps, seals, signatures, registration numbers and handwritten annotations are accounted for in the translation.
- Diplomas, degree certificates, mark sheets, enrollment letters, syllabi and school-leaving certificates are all handled the same way.
See how a single record is handled in our diploma translation guide.
Two ways records reach us
Your staff upload
An admissions or registrar staff member uploads the record in the workspace and labels it with the applicant's ID. The certified translation comes back to the same place.
Applicants upload
Your owners or admins can turn on a hosted upload page with your institution's name, logo and color. Applicants upload there, the order is billed to your account and lands in your workspace, and, if you choose, the applicant gets status updates and a download link.
Your account pays, so you set the limits
Orders from the applicant page are billed to your institution like any other order. A monthly spending budget shows your team how close the month's spending is to the limit you set.

Staff see only the workspaces they're given. Billing stays on one account, with a daily bill or, if you prefer, a monthly invoice your accounts-payable team can pay off-platform. Campus sign-in through a SAML 2.0 or OIDC identity provider is available.
Applicant privacy
Applicants' records never travel by email in either direction, every download is logged, and you can set a retention schedule so files are deleted after the period you choose, for example the end of an admission cycle. How your records policies apply, including FERPA where it applies, is your institution's decision; our trust center sets out exactly how documents are handled so your compliance office can review it.
Questions admissions and registrar offices ask
Do you provide credential evaluations?
No. JukeLingo provides certified translation only. A credential evaluation, from a member of an association such as NACES, assesses U.S. equivalency, and evaluators usually need an English translation of records that aren't already in English.
Will you convert grades to a U.S. scale?
No. Grades, marks and credits are translated exactly as written on the record. Converting them is an evaluation decision, made by your office or an evaluator.
Can applicants upload their records directly to us?
Yes. Your owners or admins can turn on a hosted upload page with your institution's name and logo. Orders from it are billed to your institution and appear in your workspace. If you choose, the applicant also gets status updates and a download link.
Can each office have its own workspace?
Yes. Create a workspace for each office and give staff access only to theirs. Billing stays on one account for the institution.
Can we be invoiced monthly?
Yes, monthly invoicing is available. Mention it when you request your account and we will set it up, or choose a daily bill paid automatically.
Which languages do you cover?
We accept records in the languages our translators cover into English, and the upload form only offers those languages, so an order is never accepted without a translator to sign it.
Is there a contract or minimum?
No subscription and no minimum. Your per-page rate is confirmed when the account opens, and nothing is billed until a certified translation is delivered.
